Dr. Jared Sams graduated salutatorian and summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology from West Virginia University School of Medicine. He obtained his doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic – West Campus again recognized as the salutatorian and graduating summa cum laude. He was distinguished and awarded by the technique chair for demonstrating mastery in adjusting.
His philosophy of care begins with an evidence based approach. He performs a comprehensive exam in order to make an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Dr. Sams utilizes therapies including: chiropractic adjustments, Active Release Technique (ART), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) stretching, corrective exercises and many others to decrease pain, increase range of motion, and improve quality of life. His goal is not only to get you better as soon as possible but to also give you the tools to prevent future injuries.
Dr. Sams’s aspirations of becoming a chiropractor began after a football injury in the seventh grade. After being told by his family doctor that the treatment plan for his injury would include no longer playing football, a teammate recommended trying chiropractic care. Through this, he was able to return to sport. Ever since, he has been determined to help others achieve the goals they thought were unachievable whether that be lifting a grandchild or deadlifting 400 pounds.
In his spare time, Dr. Sams enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Chelsea, and two amazing daughters, Colette and Camille. He also enjoys playing the guitar and can be found on stage at his church most weekends.
